3x5 Maine State Flag For Sale
The Maine state flag features the Maine state coat of arms on a field of blue. The blue field is the only color specified in the design, which must be the same blue as the United States of Americas flag. The flag has a shield, in the center of the shield, a moose rests underneath a pine tree. A seaman and a farmer support the shield signifying the importance of agriculture and their reliance on the sea. Above the shield is the north star with the word "Dirigo," which translates to "I lead."
The original state flag consisted of a pine tree in green with a blue North Star in the upper corner of a buff colored field.
